Aesculap has extended the deadline for admissions for its next Scholarship Scheme – which will be awarded at Crufts 2017 – to December 30th.

The extension to the deadline is to allow extra time for the judges to go through the detailed applications received so far.

The scheme is open to all groomers aged 16 and over who have been grooming for five years or less and who hold a maximum of City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming or the equivalent although you don’t need any qualifications to enter.

Five winners will receive prizes consisting of two days free training at a Groom Team England member’s training school together with the opportunity to attend any GTE seminars free of charge valid for one year, a free day’s training with the Colin Taylor Academy, free training session in Asian Fusion courtesy of Wayne Roby, plus a kit bag containing a set of Aesculap FAV 5 CL hybrid clippers, Akkurata trimmers and blades, a Mutney’s mixed box of shampoos and fragrances, a 15 per cent discount on all Christies Direct grooming products valid for one year, Groomer’s shampoo, spray and either a brush or coat controller or coat king plus a 10 per cent discount on grooming supplies valid for a year.

In addition, Diamond Edge is providing a package of grooming equipment with scissors, brushes and combs and Simpson’s is offering a free 12 months Gold membership subscription of its Groomers Gallery and to top it all there’s a free subscription to ProGroomer and Total Grooming Magazine along with a personalised kit bag designed by Redcape.
