Following the growing popularity of their signature scents amongst dog lovers, natural grooming product company, Butch & Bess, has launched a new range of conditioning shampoos specifically for groomers.
The SuperGroomer Collection – which is blended with hydrolysed wheat protein, oat kernel extract, aloe juice and argan oil – gives professionals 125 litres of easy-to-rinse conditioning shampoo to prepare dogs for brushing and fine scissoring, without drying out the skin and coat.
Infused with unique combinations of essential oils, the SuperGroomer range is available in the four signature scents, which have been likened to men’s cologne and women’s perfume by Butch & Bess customers: Sunny Shiny Hair Day All-in-One, Stinker Belle, The Perfect Calm and Maybe Bebé.
Packaged in five litre jugs with a 25:1 dilution rate, the natural conditioning shampoos provide a professional clean and leave a lasting pleasant fragrance.
“We wanted to create a range for groomers which embodied the success of our consumer grooming products, but one that was suitable to be used in professional establishments,” says Jo Amit, co-founder of Butch & Bess.
“This is because our network of dog groomers told us that they loved the results and scents of our 500ml Ready-to-Use Conditioning Shampoos. We let this feedback shape the nature of our SuperGroomer Collection, including packaging size, dilution rate and the presence of our signature scents.”
Interaction with their community of dog groomers also inspired the name of Butch & Bess’ first professional grooming range.
Mark Hirschel, co-founder of Butch & Bess said: “The term SuperGroomer occurred to us when taking on external suggestions during product development. We received a lot of feedback through email and social media, so we were able to take a look at the work of the groomers that got in touch with us, simply by clicking their links.
“This process reminded us of the fabulous work they do to keep our dogs happy and healthy. So we came up with a name that reflected their dedication and importance to our pets.”
To celebrate the launch of the new range, Butch & Bess have launched a monthly national competition entitled ‘SuperGroomer of the Month’ to find the best professional groomers in the UK.
Groomers who wish to enter should visit the Butch & Bess Facebook page and submit a picture of their work, along with a brief summary of why they deserve the monthly accolade.
