We asked K9 why their Hydrobaths are so popular. K9’s Managing Director, Ben Hartland said “Our HydroExcel is changing the way groomers look at bathing dogs. coated breeds that in the past can take an age of bending over the bath, applying shampoo to each area of the coat and rubbing it in. With our Hydrobaths, the shampoo is added to the water in the ‘sump’ where the water / shampoo mix recirculates through the power shower, penetrating right to the skin even on thick coated dogs.
Once the shampoo cycle is complete the new fresh water rinse gives the groomer almost unlimited warm water to rinse with ensuring all traces of shampoo are removed.”
But as Ben continues, the benefits don’t end there! “The fresh water system can be used on its own if the groomer didn’t want, or need to Hydrobathe. It’s effectively the same as an electric shower on the wall above a regular bath so ideal for nervous and younger dogs. It’s also great for rinsing the bath out after each wash and even as a warm water tap to wash your hands!”
The K9 HydroExcel is a complete self contained unit requiring just a regular plug socket, cold mains feed and connection to a drain for the waste. The water tank, heater and pumps are all built in so fitting is straight forward and they have models for salons, summerhouses, garages and vans. The latest new feature standard on all of their models is an external water temperature adjuster to make changing the water temperature far easier.
